RV loan rates from Oklahoma lenders
Local credit unions often beat national lenders, but most require you to live or work in their area to join. These are each lender's lowest published rates for well-qualified borrowers.
| Lender | Published rate | Terms | Conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Oklahoma's Credit Union | 3.74% (36 months) to 5.24% (84 months) | 36 to 84 months | Motorized RVs. Travel trailers are priced as "other recreational vehicles": 5.74% to 7.24%. Assumes a VantageScore of 740+, autopay and an OKCU checking account with direct deposit. |
| WEOKIE Credit Union | 6.99% (2023 and newer), 7.49% (2016–2022) | Up to 144 months | Up to 125% financing; first payment can be deferred 60 days. |
Membership and eligibility rules apply. Nationwide lenders are listed on the main RV loan rates page.
How Oklahoma taxes an RV purchase
Oklahoma taxes motor vehicles differently from other purchases. Instead of the full sales tax, buyers pay a motor vehicle excise tax of 3.25% of the value of a new vehicle (for a used vehicle, $20 on the first $1,500 and 3.25% on the rest), plus a 1.25% state sales tax. The calculator starts at 4.5%, the two combined.
How a towable RV is classified can change what you pay, so ask your tag agent before you buy, especially for a travel trailer or fifth wheel.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to use a Oklahoma lender?
No. Nationwide lenders and credit unions with open membership lend in every state; Alliant Credit Union, for example, offers RV loans up to 20 years. Compare at least one local and one national offer.
Which tax rate applies if I buy outside Oklahoma?
Usually the rate where you register the RV. Buying in another state rarely avoids your home state's tax.
